The Wazo County Warblers and the Fly Boys— Bringing the Golden Age of Country Radio to Your Event! Who are
we? We’re the WAZO County Warblers and the Fly Boys. We play and
sing early country and old-time music of the 1920s and 30s, when the country
was crazy for cowboys, and families gathered around the radio to hear
great fiddling, picking and singing. Jazz was new and cowboy bands rushed
to learn new swing numbers for their fans. Lasso
Us for Your Event – The band is available for concerts and concert-dances (complete with caller and musicians) for your event, festival or private party. We also offer workshops in a variety of vocal and instrumental styles. We have performed to acclaim regionally in and around Chicago, including shows at the Folk and Roots Festival (Chicago), The Racine Traditional Arts Concert Series (Wisconsin), and The Old Town School of Folk Music (Chicago). |
